Thomas Moore, Jr. 75 of Newark, NJ made his transition on November 23, 2024, in Kearny, NJ. Funeral services will be held at Villas Americas Funeral Home in Newark, NJ on Friday, December 6, 4-8 pm. Thomas leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Dorothy Moore; He is survived by his children, Shaniqua, Thomas, and Shalina; His stepchildren, Eddie, Christopher, Davion, Taqueshia,
and Sameerah Rhodes; His grandchildren, Frank, Quanisha, and Quinton Rhodes, Arthur Balogun, Artazia and Altanazier Armstrong, Ajanaiah, and Aziyah Rhodes, and Nazir, Za’kiir, Khaza, Nore’lani, Zamyrah, Jah’ziir, and A’zzoriyah, and Zariyah Moore. Thomas was born in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Geraldine Mason and Thomas Moore, Sr. He had two brothers, the late Avant McKinnon, and Bobby Moore. He was a truck driver for over twenty years until he retired in 1995. He enjoyed comedy films, and was passionate about boxing, spirituality, handywork, cars, and was a tattoo enthusiast. Thomas will be dearly missed by his loved ones and those who knew him well.
