Mildred E Rodriguez

Mildred Rodriguez, of Newark, New Jersey peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, June 6, 2021.  Mildred was born in New York, New York, and came to Newark  over 34 years ago.

She  worked as a parent liaison providing  information, connections, and resources to parents and as an administrative professional at Roseville Avenue School for over 20 years and then as the administrative professional to the Principal at Park Elementary School beginning in 2013 until she retired in 2019.  

Mildred was well-loved  in her community and by everyone she came in contact with. There was a simple modesty to Mildred that impacted everyone who came in contact with. Her kindness and her priority to care for others has had an effect on many who knew her. Her lasting legacy will be her kindness, her smile, and her ability to make you feel loved which has left a lasting impression on all.

Mildred  is survived by her caring husband Jose J. Rodriguez and her beloved children Sasha Rodriguez and Jose J. Rodriguez, her parents, Francisco Gonzalez and Nancy Molina, her loving sisters, Nancy, Wanda, Janet and Anett, and  her brother Francisco Gonzalez.  She was also adored by many nieces and nephews.
