Lisa Marie Green

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, God called Lisa Marie Green home to be with the Lord. Lisa Marie Green known as “Nana” was born on May 18, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey to the late Corrine Olympia and Robert Green. Lisa received her primary education in the Newark, New Jersey school system. She later married Birkett Tony Uzzle. Lisa had a few jobs that she enjoyed working at and was always on the go for her family. She was a very independent, caring and very loving grandmother who cared for almost all her grandchildren the best way she knew how for many years. Her specialty was cooking, home decorating, especially during the holidays and other special occasions. She leaves in her memory her husband Brikett Tony Uzzle of Philadelphia PA; one daughter Shonda Green, and one son Corey Green (Wilda) of Newark, NJ; one brother Stanley Green of Albany, NY; four sisters, Valeska Pierce of Texas; Beverly of Ohio; and Janice of East Orange, NJ; and Ronda Gray (Sinclair) of Atlanta, GA; Twelve grandchildren, Khiry, Tony, Yanissa, Shaquille, Kylah, Jabbar, Dante, Brianna, Gregg, Kori, Sage, and Charles. Three great-grandchildren, Summer, Kehlani, and Amiri. A host of nieces and nephews and beloved family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, January 07, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Funeral at Holy Cross Cemetery at (340 Ridge Rd.  North Arlington, NJ) NJ) at 1:30 p.m.
