JUNNIA GANGA PERSAD

Junnia Ganga Persad passed away on February 15th, 2022, at the age of 82, in New Jersey, USA. Junnia was born on the 13th of September 1939 to Nanan and Somaria (both deceased) at Naparima Mayaro road, in the Tableland District of Trinidad and Tobago.  She was the third out of six siblings – Harrilal Nanan, Dolly (deceased), Lal (deceased), Harrilal Singh and Mella (deceased).  Mother of Terry, Camal, Bharat, Indrani  Nila, Neeta and Devanand. Grandmother of Michael, Melissa, Anil, Chernelle , Brandon, Tricia, Melina and Nicholas. Mother-in-law of Mukesh Baboolal, Christene Beharry and Brian Bernard. A friend and well-wisher to all. Junnia loved cooking and was an avid gardener. She was a compassionate soul, always giving of herself to make the lives of others easier. She will be remembered for her unique sense of humor, always making those around her laugh.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday February 19th, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Villa Americas Funeral Home.

Funeral Service at Rosedale Crematory (Montclair, NJ) at 1:00 p.m.
