Gertrudis Martinez Obituary

Gertrudis Martinez, age 93, loving mother of Nelson Martinez and Aracelys Martinez, passed away in the early hours of April 16th. Gertrudis was born in 1928 in the city of San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Gertrudis was a devout Catholic and served many years at St. Augustine Church in Newark, NJ. She loved many and was known by many for her generosity in serving others within the community church.

Gertrudis is survived by her daughter Aracelys Martinez, her granddaughters Alexa A. Miller, Jenny Cabrera and Mariel Martinez, her grandsons Richard E. Jest and Nelson Martinez, and many great grandchildren.
