Came to America December 9th, 1976, to Newark NJ.  Worked at General Automotive Specialty CO Inc. North Brunswick NJ on January 10th, 1977, as a production factory worker. Ermelinda was the last sibling alive. Has over 20 nieces and nephews.

Ermelinda Pires, entered in the presence of the Lord on March 17, 2024, at the age of 97 years.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024; from 4-8 pm at Villa Americas Funeral Home located at (279 Roseville Avenue Newark, NJ 07107) 

On Thursday March 21, 2024. Funeral Mass at Saint Francis Xavier Church located at (243 Abington Ave Newark, NJ 07107) at 10:00 a.m.

Funeral Service at Glendale Cemetery (28 Hoover Avenue Bloomfield, NJ 07003) At 11:30 a.m.
