Dimas Santana, 51, ascended to paradise on Sunday January 30, 2022. His heart and soul were devoted to his mother Evelyn Rivera in life and in death, and they are now reunited in the presence of God. Dimas is survived by four children, Natasha, Joel, Dimas Jr. and Jaylene, his wife Shantina, and his siblings, Blanca (Deserie), Victor, Richie, Norma, Carmen, and Sandy, his nieces, Crystal, Liana, Brittany, Deserie, Briana, Arely, Jennalee, and Kaely. He was beloved by many friends and dubbed the “Governor” of Newark. His life was short, but full. He leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and fierce loyalty. Dimas is a legend that will love on, and he will be missed and loved by all forever.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday February 4th, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Villa Americas Funeral Home.
Funeral Service on Saturday, February 5th at Rosedale Cemetery (Linden, NJ) at 11:00 a.m.
