Carlos Nieves

Carlos Nieves, of Newark, NJ, died unexpectedly on November 26th, 2018 at the age of 20 in Glen Ridge, NJ.

Carlos is survived by his parents: Nancy Nieves and Domingo Valera, sister, Emily A. Nieves, maternal grandparents Emilia Perez and Wilfredo P. Ramirez,  aunt & uncle Myrna L. Ponce-Williams & Larry Williams, II (VA), aunt Maribel Ponce (GA), aunt Maria Nieves, aunt Griselle Nieves and a plethora of cousins that will miss him in their lives.

Carlos was born on November 30th, 1997  and was the light of his mother's life. They were inseparable.  He loved her just as much as she loved him. Carlos was an avid BMX fan.  He was helpful in his community and a problem-solver.  He never hesitated to help those in need.  He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
